This book was received from the Author, and Publisher, in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.
This is a non spoiler review, because you as reader need to read this book. Also, I feel sometimes I have in the past gave away to much of the plot line. This has diminished the pleasure for would be readers
-To give away further plot would be to lessen the pleasure for readers
Mara Rutherford next installment in her widely popular duology.
Kingdom of Sea and Stone is the sequel to Crown of Coral and Pearl. This action-packed tale, is a interwoven fantasy, with politics. centered ultimately on the incredible bonds of sisterhood.
Incredible world building and a plot driven storyline. This page turner takes off immediately after the aftermath of Crown of Coral and Pearl. The events following Nor has escaped Ilara leaving her beloved Prince Talin behind to escape to Varenia with her twin sister Zadie.
Mara Rutherford masterly sets character conflit into a appealing young adult fantasy. That holds the reader attention from start to finish. A plot fueled by certitude, the author creates enduring heroines, and heroes. The character development from the first book to this one is phenomenal. The sub characters are worth noting along with focus on the sisters relationship being the driving force within this book.
All in all it was a perfect follow up book in this engaging fantasy ya dualogy.
Looking forward to reading more from this talented author!
