The sisters Zuhra and Inara are back… this duology from Sara B Larson picks up where the first book left off.
.The sisters are grieving and traumatized over the consequences of the events that has happened. Now That Barloc has escaped and now its both Zuhra and Inara to stop him. They will need the help from family and friends, if they are going not allow death and d death destruction of their beloved home Vamala,and that of Visimperum.
Told in multiple POV’s, like the first book, this one the jakla who has stolen others’ (including Inara’s) Paladin powers. There is more action and mire heated romance. Some unforeseen twists and intense drama, towards the end will have readers glued to the pages. Interesting world building, along with more extensive character development will make wanting another book added to this tale.

All in all a great conclusion to a captivating ya fantasy adventure.
