The Mask Falling is a gripping, fantastical new addition to this “intoxicating urban-fantasy series” (NPR.org) that will leave readers begging for more.

It’s been a crazy morning, with our apartments air conditioning system being replaced.. Both my husband and myself are trying to stay away from the people installing it .. because of COVID. Waiting until it’s over to be able to bleach literally everything down.

Our kitty Briar Rose πŸ₯€ has been growling ever since she heard the workers.

She Kinda is like a dog in that aspect.

This is a non spoiler review, because you as reader need to read this book. Also, I feel sometimes I have in the past gave away to much of the plot line. This has diminished the pleasure for would be readers

The wait may have been grueling, but it was definitely worth it. The Bone Season is a 7 book series that can be classified as an urban dystopian/sci-fi, with some fantasy elements.

This expansive world includes an underground criminal system of clairvoyants in London. A highly anticipated new release for 2021, the author Samantha Shannon, did not disappoint. Dreamwalker Paige Mahoney has eluded death again. Welcome back to the Scion.

The Mask Falling by Samantha Shannon Is fourth installment, in The Bone Season Series. Picking up where The Song Rising left off, Paige Mahoney is in the run. After escaping imprisonment. She has a long road to recovery, suffering from the lasting effects of the mental and physical trauma that endured.

Using her gift of dreamwalking she finds work with a top secret organization the Domino Programme. This organization seeks to overthrow the Scion branch in Paris.Accompanied her former enemy Warden, who helps infiltrate the government.

This is a thrilling ride, with new betrayals, along with some romance.

Fans will be glued to this book, just like the other in the series. The ending is superbly done with some fantastic twists.
