Praise for KISSES AND CROISSANTS, A Junior Library Guild selection“A charming story about family, first love, and chasing your dreams. Grab a croissant, because this book will leave you smiling, swooning, and desperate to visit Paris!” —Katharine McGee, New York Times bestselling author of American Royals“Sweet and romantic! I couldn’t put it down.” —San Francisco Book Review, five stars“Paris simply shines; readers’ senses will come alive with all the city has to offer.” —SLJ

As sweet as a macaron from Laduree, with writing as crisp as a freshly baked baguette, this romantic novel set in Paris about an American ballerina and a charming French boy is parfait for fans of American Royals and Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Seventeen-year-old Mia, an American girl at an elite summer ballet program, has six weeks to achieve her dreams: to snag an audition with one of the world’s best ballet companies. But there’s more to Paris than ballet—especially when a charming French boy, Louis, wants to be her tour guide—and the pair discover the city has a few mysteries up its sleeve.

In the vein of romances like Love and Gelato, this is the perfect summer adventure for anyone looking to get swept away in the City of Love.

This book was received from the Author, and Publisher, in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a non spoiler review, because you as reader need to read this book. Also, I feel sometimes I have in the past gave away to much of the plot line. This has diminished the pleasure for would be readers.

l’amour est dans l’air

All Américaine Mia, needs is to land an important role in Swan Lake.

Mia, is in Paris attending a prestigious six week program. While She didn’t completely get what she wanted and that was to be an ABT in New York. This is a dream come true for Mia, the chance of a lifetime. All her work and dedication has finally came to fruition. Upon arrival Mia finds out that she has to room with her rival, Audrey. There is some adjusting for both girls, but all in all they find a common bond in ballet.

In a series of events she crosses paths with a young adult Parisian Louis. While trying to focus on nothing else except her Ballet, the beautiful city and the charming boy tends to cause her to be come sidetracked. There is also a family mystery that comes to surface as the story unfolds and process.

This was a delightful breezy young adult romance. Heartwarming and I truly enjoyed the characters and the setting.

I also enjoyed the details of ballet that peppered into the storyline. It made for a rich reading experience.

I highly recommend this book, if you enjoy wonderful Light hearted romantic YA Fiction.
